Hi Sean!

Glad to meet you! I've been doing P90X/P90X+/P90X2 for over 4 years now. I just finished a round of a P90X/P90X2 hybrid I created but it didn't work out so well. I lost a lot of strength and endurance. Needless to say, I wasn't happy. Have you done the P90X/P90X2 hybrid you have listed here enough to know that it works? That is, have you done at least one round of it to determine if you maintained your strength and endurance by the end of the round? Thanks!

@OCCY: Hybrids are great. I did P90X hybrids for a couple years. But, since P90X2 is now out I would go ahead and do that. P90X2 is great for athletic performance, balance, strength, speed, flexibility, and power. It's perfect for a surfer as well since there is a ton of great instability moves that will help you with your surfing. Does that help?

Hey Sean. how are u man? Im 29 years old and i surf since im 10, unfortunately i had to move to a much colder waveless country this last year, so i cant practice my passion and sport in a regular basis. I noticed that when i stopped surfing, i gain a lot of weight (10 kg), so i decided to hit the gym, but i easily get bored with the traditional gym workouts, so i decided to start p90x for the last 3 months and the results were incredible, lost the extra 10 kilos, and noticed tremendous explosion on my surf maneuvers (this due i recon to plyometrics). So after telling u all this story, my question is, do u recon that i should do a P90X+Insanity hybrid workout to improve my athletic performance? or should i keep on practice p90X Doubles substituting the cardioX sessions for a swim and run? If ur sugestion is the Hybrid, how should the workout plan be? Thank u and Hugz
