@Jay: I believe it's concentrate if this is what you are referring to http://getrippedathome.com/supplements/whey-protein-powder/. Until they change it to Whey Isolate, use your local one that is isolate. If you are referring to the P90X recovery drink, please keep in mind that it is a Recovery drink, not a protein powder and I would definitely use the P90X R&R drink for the glycogen replenishment post workout. Let me know if you have questions

is the p90x whey protein considered whey concentrate or whey isolate? I went out today and bought a whey isolate powder from the local fitness store in light of the recent Carl Diekler article on the two kinds of protein. Would you recommend the p90x version over a local one?

@Rich: I just use Sci-Fit's Kre-Alkalyn. Kre-Alkalyn is a patented product so I believe it all comes from the same manufacturer. There some come "complexes" That are decent too. As far as other supplements go, I would definitely invest in a good Omega 3. I have been taking Shakeology and loving it as well. You can also check out my reviews on some of the pre-workout supplements I have tried under the "review" section. Hope that helps! Let me know.

Hey Sean, I have a couple supplement questions for you. I am in week three of p90x and so far my supplements are from GNC. I currently take their whey protein, glutamine, creatine and mhp trac extreme no pre workout. I feel that I need to shake things up. What brand of Kre-Alkalyn do you take and what other supplements would you recommend?
