Hey Sean thanks a lot! I have been thinking about taking some BCAA's, I will definitely try some out! I put on about 30lbs with Body Beast last winter so I will be doing it again this fall and would love to add something extra. Thanks again!

@Nate T.: Funny that you mention this because I was going to write a post on "if supplements are necessary". Basically there are two kinds of supplements that I consider. "Base", those you use for good health and that you use all the time to fill in the gaps of your nutrition...and "Situational", those that you use on a situational basis based on your desired goals. Most of the ones listed here are situational, with the exceptions being Shakeology, Omega 3s and Multivitamin. Supplements are meant to help fill in the gaps that are left by our diets. The better our diets the less we need any supplements. There is a reason why this is Part 3 and not part 1. I think I explain that. Supplements should only be used after you have down a good fitness schedule and diet. Diet is the key. Diet is what most people lack when it comes to mass. YOu need to eat to grow. The supplements help to optimize your workouts and diet. Most of the supplements I listed I go into some detail on why they work. Do you have any specific questions on why these supplements are listed?

Can you gain mass without supplements? Absolutely! But again, you really need to have your nutrition down 100%.

Hey bro! So I'm looking to gain mass again, and have never taken BCAA's before. You think it's made that big of difference? I might be getting some Xtend soon!

@Chris: Not really man. Force Factor is not a protein supplement. It is a "N.O. Booster" that is basically just different types of arginine. I would stick to the whey protein since it is NOT a similar product at all. Whey protein isolate is a high quality form of whey protein that will help you with your protein goals and help with providing your muscle with the right amino acids needed to stimulate muscle growth.
