Jeremy took his fitness to the next level with P90X2. He is a prime example of how consistency with P90X2 and the Nutrition plan can lead to amazing results. Not only has he gotten absolutely ripped with P90X2 but he is now paying it forward, taking what he has learned and helping others do the same as a coach.

This is what I love about P90X2. It gives you the ability to step outside your comfort zone and completely transform you. Jeremy is not just ripped…he is also stronger, more agile, more powerful and has better balance then he did before completing P90X2. Check out Jeremy’s P90X2 Results Video!

Here is what Jeremy has to say about this P90X2 Results

After completing P90X, my workouts began to plateau. I wanted to further my fitness progression and step up my diet, so I began P90X2. I absolutely loved my X2 journey. I gained confidence in myself to diet better as well as push myself to limits I have never been to. Today(currently doing a P90X/X2 hybrid)I feel better than ever. I’m more confident than I’ve ever been and my energy levels are exceptional on a daily basis. I truly believe in the Beachbody philosophy of fitness and can not wait to see where it takes me.

Tell us about your life before you started the program. How did you feel about yourself and your body?

I absolutely love being a 7th grade English teacher. Truthfully, I tended to let work be my life. I worked all day and continued at night—planning, grading, etc. Work was an excellent distraction from analyzing myself and my life. But, when I really think back to my life before I started the program, I really just was happy enough. Not happy period. Not happy exclamation point. Just happy enough. I had reached this weirdly satisfied but not satisfied acceptance of my life. I weighed how much I weighed. I considered myself the definition of a heavy girl. I was one of many. I had sunk into the realization that I was not a skinny girl, nor would I ever be miserable about who I was. I would not beat myself up or guilt myself because of my weight. I liked food and was prepared to live with the consequences. I had tried (but let’s face it, not really tried) to exercise and diet, but it hadn’t really worked.

What inspired you to change your life and begin your transformation journey?

I had no idea that I was going to change my life. I was looking for a change—just a regular one though. Not a transformation or a journey. I had finished the school year, teaching another fabulous group of seventh graders, and felt tired all the time. Reality really sunk in when I saw our school yearbook. I was happy to be featured in so many pictures, but didn’t like what I saw. Was that really me? I had settled into a life of teaching, eating, watching TV, and just enjoying the life I had. Those yearbook pictures were more than I was used to. I had been getting ready for another summer of being inactive and not doing much, but I just decided to do something about ME. My friend Katie invited me to workout with her (as she had done many times before) and I decided to actually do it and put some actual effort into it. I committed to myself. I was putting myself before my students, the tests that I had to grade, and the lessons I had been planning. I was going to succeed!

Why did you choose the particular program?

I had “worked out” with a few teachers at school during the year but hadn’t done much lately. I can’t really call it working out though. I was doing some minor exercise that justified eating more. I would get drive-thru on my way home as a reward for doing it! Throughout my whole life,I have tried working out sporadically, but have never been fit or athletic. I always hated running and had painfully tight calves, so cardio was out. Walking around the mall for hours would kill my legs. I could walk a treadmill pretty slowly. I took a class here and there, but never found a program I could do or love. So, when I decided to give Beachbody a whirl, I simply had no idea. But, all I had to do was turn to my awesome coach. Katie suggested ChaLEAN Extreme for me. She knew that starting me off with this program would get me motivated and each step in the burn-push-lean cycle did just that. Plus, Chalene is amazing. I finally realized why Katie liked working out so much.

What in particular did you like about the program you chose?

The ChaLEAN Extreme system works—it is extreme and effective. Chalene taught me to have a positive inner voice that told me that I can do anything. She taught me how to make progress and how it feels so good to work hard. I wasn’t allowed to go through it at a comfortable level, but go through it pushing myself and give every move my very best effort. “Failing” with Chalene meant that I was actually making progress, because I knew I was challenging myself to the right level with each weight workout. She promised me that I was going to see amazing results…and she kept that promise. I’m happy every time I finish working out with Chalene. I’ve burned a ton of calories, I feel good about myself, I’m sweaty, I have a smile on my face, and I don’t have a care in the world. I learned that I wanted to experience this feeling every day of my life.

Tell us about the greatest challenge you faced. How did you overcome that challenge?

I have never been an athlete, played any sports, trained for anything, or been part of a team. I’m so happy to be part of the BB team and have the best coach in the world .The thing Katie helped me realize is that I’ve never really had to push before. Athletes learn these things through their sport .If I had been working out by myself & had reached that point of tiredness or discomfort, I would have stopped. Katie helped me push through it. I couldn’t have achieved the results I have if I had taken it easy. I needed to lift heavier weights, run faster, squat lower, get down, etc. It was a challenge in every sense of the word. Uncomfortable? Absolutely! It was ridiculously uncomfortable .I overcame my challenge by getting strong mentally as well. I had to believe I could do it. I had to grin and bear it. I had to take the time to do it right. I had to push my body to the max. I had to realize that it would be worth it. I WAS WORTH IT!!!
Describe the results you achieved with your Beachbody® program. What achievements are you proud of?

I have more energy than I ever thought was possible. Before Beachbody, I would work five days a week and spend the weekends doing nothing because I was so tired. I would make light of it. “What are you doing this weekend, Jessica?” Response: “Couch City and I’m the mayor.” Now I get so invigorated and energized after each workout. I’m active and so much more outgoing. I am ridiculously happy. It pours out of me. People tell me that I look happier all the time. Like I said before, I have lost 63 pounds and 54 inches. I went from a size 18 to a size 10. I can shop at all the stores that all my friends do. That might sound like an absurd statement, but I’m proud of that. I spent too many years shopping with friends and watching them try on clothes. I would give advice on what looked cute or not and just buy an accessory because that’s all I could buy at certain stores. Not anymore! But really, I’m just proud of myself. I DID IT!

Devlin proves that you can gain mass, strength, definition and improve your overall fitness using P90X2. Devlin is a P90X grad and a marathon runner who decided to use P90X2 to gain mass. He devoted himself to the P90X2 nutrition guide, along with Shakeology and E&E to help maximize his results while going through P90X2. The effects were awesome! Devlin was able to go from 159lbs and 9% body fat to 164 lbs and 7% body fat. That’s 5 lbs of mass, and 2% less body fat! For a guy who has been a marathon runner his whole life, this was a huge accomplishment. Check out his P90X2 results in his video below.

Here is Devlin’s P90X2 results story in his own words….

My Beachbody journey began on April 1, 2011 starting with P90X. I completed nearly three rounds of P90X getting in the best shape of my life leading up to the much awaited release of P90X2. On January 1st 2012 I decided to take the P90X2 challenge.

My goals being that I’m a runner, were to gain some size and mass. The workouts were intense with all the core engagement and balance exercises during the foundation phase.

During the program I used Shakeology, results and recovery along with E&E pre-workout supplement. These supplements added great benefit to helping me achieve my goal.

The physical changes that I noticed most was in my chest, shoulder, and arms. I followed the nutrition plan by using the fat shredder in foundation phase, and energy maximize in the strength building phase and the last two weeks of the program I went back to the fat shredder.

My challenge group and coach Sean www.getrippedathome.com motivated me to achieve my goals everyday.

P90X and P90X2 have great similarities but with P90X2 there is definitely more coordination, balance, athletic performance involved.

The front levers and four ball push ups are the best! J

Thank you Tony and Beachbody!

Want to ask Devlin how he Gained mass with P90X2? You can find him through his site at www.stayfit4life.com or youtube at http://www.youtube.com/user/devlindwatson

P90x2 can truly take your fitness to the next level. Just ask Matthew, who got completely shredded with P90X2. Not only did he lose 12 lbs in 90 days but he also dropped his body fat below 9% and was able to strengthen his core and runs in obstacle course runs for fun! He showed his commitment to his workouts but he also followed the P90X2 diet and stuck to it 100%.

Here is Matthews P90X2 results story in his own words…

I was always a reasonably athletic kid, but was chubby from late elementary until late high school. But in my early 20s, I got in great shape and really fell in love with fitness, so much so that I became a trainer in the late 90s. But that was also when I got married and had a child and was having a hard time paying the bills being new to personal training and not associated with a gym. So I got a steady job and spent time in and out of shape… mostly in, but there were some definite lulls. But I never fell out of love with fitness.

In 2006, my wife got hurt training for a marathon but we had already paid for the hotel and she had raised money for the race. So that left me with six weeks to train, which I did, and ran a respectable 3:39. This really made me appreciate how our bodies were created to do amazing things. I’m not saying that I’m amazing, but the fact that the human body can adapt, improve, and change in such a short time and complete a rather hard task left me inspired. And I don’t take it for granted (neither does my wife and we won’t let our children either).

In 2009, my wife and I went through P90X for the first time and that’s when she qualified for the Boston Marathon for the first time. Coincidence? Nope.

So here we are a few years and three more kids later, still bringing it, and still eager to do more. But we don’t want to do more (i.e., be in great shape) merely for the sake of fitness or exercise, but for the freedoms it brings, for the confidence it builds, for the example it sets, and for the worlds it opens up.

What motivated you to start P90X2?

I had completed a few rounds of P90X and was a big believer in muscle confusion. When you eat right, you can get amazing results with P90X. And I knew that would be the case with P90X2. Tony does a great job teaching, motivating, and still keeping the vibe loose. Furthermore, I was really curious about the science behind some of the workouts and moves, like PAP, neuro-integrated stretching, and myofascial release. So it was really a no-brainer.

What was your favorite part about P90X2?

Hard to list just one. I’m a huge fan of variety and P90X2 was jam packed with it. I’ve been lifting weights for 15+ years, but there were moves in P90X2 that I’d never seen or could have ever come up with on my own. Furthermore, I felt as though I was being trained like an elite athlete. I like throwing around dumbbells and whatnot, but these moves were building my athleticism, not just my muscles. A buddy that was has been working out with me use to be in the Navy. He told me that many of the moves we are doing in P90X2 are moves he’s seen the Navy SEALS do! So that gave me even greater confidence and motivation to bring my best effort. I also loved all the new gear. I love incorporating the medicine balls and stability balls into my routine. There are SO many moves you can do with this equipment. And the rumble roller is painful paradise.

What is your advise to those looking to start P90X2?

If you want to train like you’ve always trained, you can have the results that you’ve always had. But if you want the most advanced home workout exercise science has to offer, if you want to be trained like the elite athlete hidden in most all of us, and if you want performance-oriented results that will help everyone from the stay-at-home mom to the fitness enthusiast, this is the solution. But like P90X before it and all the other Beachbody programs, they don’t pretend to do the hard work. The programs by themselves will do you no good. You have to supply the hard work. And Beachbody makes no bones about that. They don’t pretend it will be easy, cause it won’t. The programs are not magic.

You see, the answer is you. You are the magic bullet… and Beachbody is the trigger.

Jed lost body fat and got ripped with P90X2. His consistency, dedication to his diet and workouts, and his will to complete the program shows in his results. Not only did Jed lost 21.5 lbs in 90 days but he also lost 12% body fat and gained a ton of strength and muscle. He can now do over 20 pull ups! P90X2 helped Jed not only get visual results but his performance and physical ability has skyrocketed. Check out his P90X2 results video and story below

Here is Jed’s Story in his own words…

Having been doing P90X since January of 2010, I was excited to learn about its successor, P90X2. During my time doing P90X over the course of two years, I saw some pretty good results, but not as much as I was hoping. I travel a lot and didn’t quite have the discipline to take P90X on the road as often as I should have. What’s more, I never followed the nutrition guide. I knew it was time to change that, and when I learned that P90X2 was coming out, it was the perfect opportunity to start over fresh.

My goals with P90X2 were similar to my goals with P90X: 1) get better at pull-ups and other exercises 2) get toned and lower my Body Fat percentage. Just before starting P90X2, I measured my Body Fat % to be just over 18%. When I saw that I knew I couldn’t ignore the nutrition side of things, so I stuck to the nutrition guide and also got Shakeology to help out with my nutrition gaps.

The workouts were very challenging. In just the first month, I was having to eat humble pie on almost every exercise, like having to half my weight on bicep curls… because I was doing them in warrior 3. The biggest challenge, yet most fun, was sticking to the nutrition guide. Refusing many a desert on family or friend get-togethers was tough, but trying out some of the recipes in the guide helped diversify my eating habits. Each day I progressed in my workouts and refused to compromise in my nutrition, I felt stronger, more energetic, and more relaxed (thank you rumble roller) because of P90X2.

In three months I went far past the goals I set for myself. I have almost doubled the amount of pull-ups I can do, how far I can stretch, and how long I can last with wall squats. I can jump higher, run faster, and lift more weight. What’s more, I lost 66% of my body fat, going from 18% to 6.3% and lost 21.5 pounds. I did not think all that was possible within 3 months. Also, because I followed the nutrition plan, took Shakeology, and used the rumble roller, I didn’t get sick or injure myself to stop me from achieving my goals.

P90X2 is truly a perfect sequel in every way to P90X. The two things I like about P90X is that it had a lot of variety and was very challenging. P90X2 basically takes both of those aspects to new extremes. With P90X, the three phases only ever really varied in the Day 1 and Day 3 upper body exercises, for lower body, Plyo and Legs and back were it. With P90X2, only phase 2 has a resemblance to the original, with Phase 1 and phase 3 being almost completely new. So basically P90X2 has three times more variety than the original.

As far as challenging goes, P90X2 really does bring it to the next level. With moves like Impossible/Possibles, Lolasanas, Levers, or the combination of moves in the PAP workouts, they make P90X look like a walk in the park (though it definitely isn’t). The biggest challenge for me has been applying balance to most of the strength moves. In a way, this makes your body feel more “connected.” It’s weird, but I have even noticed things like walking, posture, and sleeping seem easier because of these workouts.

Overall P90X2 has surpassed P90X as the best possible workout program.

Troy’s fitness journey isn’t a likely one. Troy was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at the age of 17. He decided that once he got well he was going to take his life back…and he did. Troy was lucky enough to be introduced to P90X from a friend. He used P90X, P90X+, Insanity and Asylum to get himself back into unbelievable shape! He focused a ton on his nutrition and truly changed his health and fitness.

Here is Troy’s Incredible story in his own words…

In November of 2009, at 17, I was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Prior to getting sick, I was a very active and fit kid. I played many sports and never had a need to go to the gym or to work out at all. After a month of chemotherapy and radiation I had lost 10 pounds of muscle mass. After 6 months, I was down 40 pounds. My hockey season playing weight was a lean 180 lbs, I was currently 140. My self esteem was incredibly low, I avoided mirrors and going out in public; something had to be done.

For Christmas in 2010, a friend of mine got P90X as a gift and asked if I would join him to workout. I can’t remember what my original ‘fit-test’ results were, but I know my push ups started in the single digits. The first 90 days were an incredible challenge, but by the time April rolled around I was starting to get my normal body back.

Round 2 was a hybrid with many Beachbody videos. Some P90X+, some 1 on 1′s and Shaun T’s Insanity and Asylum. I saw very noticeable gains in my body composition and fitness levels. By the time summer was over, I was confident in my own skin again. During Round 3, I focused a lot on nutrition and started to eat very clean. I also paid a lot more attention to form on exercises and tempo. This round was purely P90X and was an effort to get me ready for the soon-to-be-released P90X2.

With P90X2, I have employed a carb-cycling technique to my diet, which has been incredibly effective (dropping my BF% to 7) and have really tried to strengthen my lower body and increase my balance and coordination. I still feel as if my fitness journey has only just started and every day I see more room for growth.

My motivation along the way was just to get back to my old self. Once I reach that point, I was hooked and wanted to see more and more improvement. Fitness and nutrition has become a huge part of my life and that is solely because of Beachbody.

If you think you can’t completely change your health and fitness with a Home workout program, think again. Nick was out of shape, eating terribly and feeling the effects in his life. Once he decided to change his life and stop making excuses there was no stopping him. He committed himself to a healthy diet and got results. Then he commited to P90X and got INSANE results. P90X, Insanity, Asylum and lots of sweat later, he is a transformed person. Living his life the way he chooses, healthy and fit. A true Get Ripped At Home inspiration. But he hasn’t stopped there…

Here is Nicks story in his own words:

Those first pictures are from my high school days (circa 2002-2004). Between my junior and senior years of high school, I went from 240LBS to 190 LBS following the Atkins’ Diet (ALL meat, cheese, eggs, and fattening foods). It worked for me, but in retrospect was not the healthiest way to make it happen. Anyway, after high school I went to college and my weight fluctuated between 185-200LBS. After I graduated college, I cut down to 175lbs by eating “healthy” and lifting and doing cardio at the gym. My 175 body was still 20% body fat… I was eating about 16-1800 calories per day (not nearly enough), and much of it was frozen or processed “diet foods”.

Then I discovered P90X. April 2009. Best decision ever. I followed the first round to a T, dropping about 10LBS (from 172-162) and from 20% body fat to around 8%. I was counting every single calorie, and every single macronutrient… but again, in retrospect, my diet lacked MICROnutrients. After my first round of P90X, I started P90X plus, but mobilized a rib and couldn’t lift my arm for about 3 months… I took it a little too easy. I gained some chub back (I was trying the paleo diet), and lost a little muscle. To get back into shape, I did another round of P90X. I finished that round at 170 (the weight I was when I first started P90X, and about 7% body fat (so I gained almost ten pounds, most of it muscle!). After that, I did a round of Insanity. I actually GAINED weight doing Insanity, but lost body fat %. My legs got stronger. Then I did Asylum, and that’s when my diet really started to shift. Asylum recommended cutting out dairy, so I did it, and I’ve never looked back. Asylum got me shredded (that video shows me right after my round of asylum). Then I decided that i wanted to add some mass. I ordered some P90X 1-on-1s and started lifting very heavy, increasing my caloric intake to about 3000 per day. All the while, I continued to tweak my diet, aiming for the highest number of “nutrients per calorie” (nutrients per calorie has since become my mantra whenever people ask me about my diet). It’s not about being Vegan, or not eating meat, or whatever… it’s all about getting the most nutrients per calorie. That’s all that matters. Why? So I don’t have to count calories. So I feel Energized. So I can eat AS MUCH AS I WANT!… and I do eat more than anyone I know. So that brings us to today, Week 6, Day 1 of P90X2. I’m between 172-175 pounds, roughly 8-9% body fat. I don’t count calories. I work hard when I work. And I have fun feeling good and mentoring other people when it comes to health and fitness. I work at Shelton’s Farm Market (my family owned business since 1947) where I oversee the implementation of “Healthful Options” including organics, natural foods, and foods for people with specific dietary needs. I’m also our resident Fruit Peddler. In addition to working at the Market, I am a Personal Trainer at the YMCA, where I work with a multitude of clients, ranging from 10 year old kids to 38 year old 300+ women. Being able to empathize with an overweight person is something that sets me apart from many of the other trainers I know, and I’m happy and proud to have come so far over the past 10 years. Whewwwww!!!! p.s. Here is my first P90X video (parts of it even made it into the P90X infomercial!)

I think Chad has answered the question whether or not you can gain mass with P90X. Wow! Chad decided to make a change in his life and went for it. His P90X results prove how you can completely change your body type with a program like this. Not only that but he also improved in sports! Chad has been a stable member or the Get Ripped At Home Crew for some time now and his dedication to both his fitness and nutrition definitely shows through. It doesn’t matter if you are young, old, man or women…you can get in the best shape of your life with P90X and P90X2. Get the results you deserve!

Here is Chad’s Story in his own words…

Entering high school as an underweight, unfocused, out-of-shape freshman, I knew that in order to play lacrosse competitively and succeed academically in school, I had no choice but to make profound changes in my diet and exercise regimen. I remember when my own poor diet affected my daily life, making me feel tired, weak, lazy, and irritable, especially before lacrosse practice; that chips and pizza might be the culprits never crossed my mind. Before, my daily diet included a meager breakfast, pizza for lunch, three bags of chips for a snack, and finally, a well-balanced dinner too late in the day to matter. After learning how proper nutrition could change my life, I changed my diet to include a hearty breakfast of eggs, bacon, and toast, I stopped eating the cafeteria junk food and started making my own lunches, and I put a stop to my destructive snacking habits. After I changed my diet, I wasn’t drained of all my energy when school ended; and, I also saw a major improvement in my lacrosse game.

Even though I had improved my diet, I still needed to get in shape in order to stay healthy and ultimately make the lacrosse team. I knew in order to play lacrosse effectively I would have to gain muscle, so I started working out at the gym and lifting weights. At first I did gain some muscle and increase my weight, but my gains stopped after a while and I didn’t know why. I researched and found that my body had entered the “plateau effect,” achieving results early on but slowing progress after about three weeks. After discussing the problem with my dad, he explained how P90X stops the plateau effect and helps achieve results more quickly. Convinced, I started to see results as the workout program put my body through varying workouts every three weeks so that my muscles kept growing throughout the ninety day challenge. By the end of the ninety day program, I gained considerable muscle mass, but more importantly; I gained confidence from a well-tuned, high-performing body fueled by healthful eating and regular workouts.
