About the Apparel:

These are GREAT quality shirts.  They are cotton or cotton blends and have a good athletic cut to them.  They fit accurately to the same size T-Shirts that I wear, which is Medium for me.  If you have any questions please feel free to contact me or comment below.  I hope you like the new design!

In the program section you will find Les Mills Pump, Beachbody newest program.  Yes, even newer than P90X2.  Les Mills Pump is the home version of Body Pump, that you can find in gyms around the nation.  These classes are widely popular so it is very cool that Beachbody brought them to the home fitness world.  This program is based upon the idea of the “Rep Effect”.  Where you lift light weight for many reps.  This gets your heart rate extremely high so you burn calories and sculpt lean muscle.  The program comes with a barbell and weights, and is available in a Base Kit, Ultimate Kit and Upgrade kits.  There is even a Ab workout called Core that you can buy as a stand a lone to add to your current programs.  Pump is also schedule to be fit into other programs very easily.  It is perfect to hybrid with P90X, P90X2, Insanity, Asylum or TurboFire.

I also added 10 Minute Trainer to the program section.  This is something that has been requested for a long time so I decided to finally add it.  Personally I love these workouts because they are short and intense.  The 10 Minute Ab routine is literally the hardest 10 min ab workout I have ever done.  These workouts are great for those who have very little time and want to get a quick but extremely effective workout in.  As you get stronger you can add a couple together and get 10, 20 and 30 min workouts.  They are also great to add to other programs for a little something extra.

In the “Gear” section of the site you will find the Brand New P90X2 Equipement!  This is for those who didn’t get a chance to buy the Ultimate or Deluxe kits and want to add on the equipment to their P90X2 Base Kits.  They all come with the advanced DVDs as well.  Where you can see V-Sculpt (one of the P90X2 workouts that I am in).  I also added the X2 Stability Balls, X2 Rumble Roller, X2 Foam Roller and X2 Med Balls.  This is all the equipment that I use personally and is all very good quality.  For those who travel or use resistance bands, you can also find the band set with door attachments.  Another cool thing that Team Beachbody is offering is that you can buy the P90X2 Nutrition guide separately!  There are also P90X2 posters, so check those out as well.

I have added some Asylum gear that you can now buy separately as well.  So if you were looking for an extra Agility Ladder or Speed Rope, you can not get it through the site as well.  Did your Strength Bands break from all the wear and tear of Asylum?  Mine did, so I ordered some extra Strength Bands as well.

In case you didn’t hear, Team Beachbody has made a great pre-workout supplement called E&E Energy and Endurance pre-workout supplement, that you can now find here on the site in the “Supplement” section.  I will be adding my impressions and review as soon as It arrives.  (it should be here tomorrow).

Lastly, I also added Apparel to the “Gear” section of the site.  You will find a couple new items in there, including some new T-Shirts and Tank Tops.  Beachbody is also coming out with Branded clothing for their programs.  I had a chance to preview some of these collections at the leadership conference and I was VERY impressed.  They can be compared to brands like Under Armor and Nike.  Very cool.  The first ones released will be TurboFire apparel and P90X apparel.  New t-shirts, shorts, jackets, tanks, workout pants, etc.  I will be adding those when they come out in February.

The Best part was that they announced some very cool new things that are coming up in the world of Beachbody.  So I wanted to pass along the latest and greatest news to all of you who are about of the Get Ripped at Home Crew.  Some of the details are still yet to be announced but there are some great new products and announcements that are closer than you think.  (I noticed that one of my fellow coaching buddies Wayne posted something similar, but since we were at the same conference it will be similar info ;)  ).

News and Updates from Beachbody:

1.  Tropical Shakeology:  As you already saw from my post a couple days ago, that you can find HERE, you may have seen that the new Tropical Shakeology flavor is now going to be Vegan!  If all goes according to plan (it passes the longevity tests), which it should, then it will be ready for purchase in January 2012.  That’s right around the corner.  Even Carl Daikeler has said that this final formulation tastes awesome…so much so that he switched to Tropical from Chocolate.

2.  P90X2:  This is going to be the biggest launch in Beachbody History.  There are already 46,000 pre orders to date.  This number is growing!  So make sure you have your pre order in as quickly as possible to ensure that you will receive P90X2 with Free Shipping First.  If you haven’t done so yet, you can do it HERE.  Be ready to do P90X2 with me come January 2nd!  When I will be doing a new P90X2 challenge with all of you who join me!

3.  New Program called “Pump”!:  This program is from a trainer named Les Mills who is known for his fitness classes at various corporate gyms.  The program is based on his popular Body Pump Class, that you may have seen if you go to a 24 hour fitness.  The difference is that this takes that popular class and brings it to your home.  You will get 7 workouts, a barbell, weights, and a workout guide.  The program is based on the concept of High Rep and Low weight with a barbell so you get your heart rate high and burn a ton of calories.  In the process you are able to sculpt lean muscle because your lifting weights.  Kinda cool right?  They even said that a typical workout will burn 800-1000 calories.  B doing this you won’t bulk up because of the “rep effect”.

No price has been set yet.  We coaches are speculating that it will be around $200 most likely because of the barbell and weights that come with it.  Which in all actuality is a pretty great deal.  Below is a little video But not the official one yet, Enjoy!

4.  Tai Chi Program Called “Tai Cheng”:  If you saw my post from the Coach Summit back in June, you would have seen me talk about the new Tai Chi program that Beachbody is coming out with.  It is based on the teachings of Tai Chi trainer Mark Cheng.  So they are calling the program “Tai Cheng”….oh you clever Beachbody.  This program will be low impact to no impact and it will focus on re-equilibrating your body.  It will help your posture, stability, strength and coordination.  This will be a great program for those with chronic injuries, that have effected posture or mobility.  It will also be great for the older generations who need a low impact workout to get the blood flowing.  It will be a 90 day program that will promise to get you moving better.

5.  P90X App Update: Yes, it’s still actually coming.  Yes, it will be worth the wait.  It is said that it will be released this Late Fall/Early Winter.  It is all dependent on the review process.  This app will be for iPhone’s only, so if you own an android you will be out of luck for a while.  The app is going to allow you to log your workouts, track your progress, and have digital copies of P90X so you can do it it anywhere!  No more excuses that you are out of town, so you can’t workout!  There will be more details as it’s released so keep checking back.

6.  P90X2 Advanced Workouts are now Available for Pre-Order: Once again, this is news that I already talked about last week but if you missed it, I wanted to bring it up again.  Beachbody has now opened up pre-orders for the 2 Advanced Workouts (V-Sculpt and Chest/Shoulders/Tris X2).  These are the workouts that come with the Deluxe and Ultimate Kits already, but if you ordered the Base Kit then you will want to pick these up, so your not left behind those who bought the Deluxe and Ultimate.  You can Find more info by clicking here = X2 Advanced Workouts.  Remember I am in P90X2 V-Sculpts and Chest/Back + Balance so don’t miss out!!

Beachbody and their products are already making, we are on the cusp of something HUGE as international expansion efforts are in the works.  If you think P90X, Insanity, and Shakeology are big time now, you ain’t seen nothing yet!  Wait until people from around the world can use these products, fall in love with them, change their lives, and inspire others to do the same.  I can’t wait to ride the wave as we keep leading the world in fitness programs, nutritional supplements, and a system to ensure people’s success with them.

So what is the Latest news?…Tropical Shakeology is coming in January and it will be VEGAN! Yep, that’s right….the long awaited Vegan version of Shakeology is coming much sooner than expected.  So what does that mean?  No more problems for those of you who want to stay away from any dairy and animal products.  Shakeology’s protein currently comes from Whey protein isolate, which in my opinion is the best whey protein you can possible use.  But some people just don’t want any dairy or animal products what so ever so now there is an option for them!

One of the coaches on our coaching team, Monica Parodi, also investigated and found out which protein source Tropical Flavor Shakeology will have.  Obviously we didn’t want it to be Soy because of the poor quality and the fact that it isn’t great for men.  So Beachbody is making the protein from sprouted brown rice!  Monica is the resident Vegan and she is very happy with that source of protein.  They also said it will be NON-GMO!  Of course it is!  So what about the other flavors?  Well, all other flavors will eventually roll out into Vegan as well. Carl Daikeler, the CEO of Beachbody, said that he hopes everyone will eventually switch to the vegan option since, in his opinion, it will by far be the healthiest.  Interesting…I do know that Co-Creators Darin Olein and Isabelle Daikeler or both vegan so they are obviously trying to make this the healthiest of them all.

They also said that they are taking out the suma root from Tropical so atheletes don’t have to worry about drug testing with it anymore.  Drug tests can determine the difference between a plant sterol and anabolic steroids so obviously this was a concern for athletes.  No more!

Carl also said that it is now his favorite flavor, above chocolate.  Apparently they have worked on the flavor since the coach summit and made it even better.  I can’t wait to try it!  There might even be some cool things for those already on Shakeology Home Direct.
