@level99: Don't knock it till you try it ;) . j/k but honestly X2 is worth checking out when you reach the point where you want to change things up and try some new moves. There are definitely workouts in X2 that are better than P90X and some that aren't as good. But all in all, I really like X2. If you are looking for mass though, I would DEFINITELY pick up Body Beast. Yep, the program is now available. You just have to order it through a coach like myself. The benefit of that to you is that you also get the Lucky 7 workout for free. If you buy the HUGE or BEAST kits you also get the TEMPO Chest/Tri and TEMPO Back/Bi workouts as well. Just go to the "PROGRAMS" tab above. There is also Body beast supplements in the supplement section as well as Body Beast equipment in the Gear Section. Here is a link http://getrippedathome.com/workouts-exercises/body-beast/body-beast-out-now/

Thanks Sean, good to hear that program is keeping you interested. To be fair, I have not tried p90x2 and my comment is based of discussions, online forums etc. but I have not tried it. I just been reloading old p90x and still like it.
But like many, looking for little more mass based workouts (slowing down tony really :)) rather than cardio powered like p90x.
$90 is not bad at all...I thought it was going to be in in realm of $200. Since I invested into powerblocks when I started p90x I been wanting to push them around more anyhow :) So is the program available yet or is it only out for coaches?
Thanks!

P90x2 is no joke. I seriously think that combining some of the P90x2 workouts with the Body Beast would work perfect!!

I love how P90x2 has a lot of core conditioning workouts.
I have tried Asylum and it's for athletes who are trying to get better sports performance, that being said.. Asylum is no joke. To this day I still think Insanity Asylum is the most hardest workout dvd BeachBody has to offer. But I want Body Beast!!! I have been waiting for a dvd like this for a long time

@level99: I have done about 2 weeks so far and am very surprised by how well it is put together. I am not really a "Go heavy or go home" type of guy but these workouts have been fun, challenging and definitely focus on slow tempo and proper form. Lots of time under tension and different set combinations that really get you pumped up. The total program combines a high calorie diet with different phases of workouts that seems to focus directly on hypertrophy. The eating plan is definitely not a "see food diet". You have to eat the proper proteins/carbs/fats as well as hit the calorie marks each day that is suggested. If you are looking to gain mass, for $89.85, you honestly can't go wrong. You definitely need dumbbells though.

I don't agree that P90X2 failed, too soon to tell. So far it is the fastest selling program that Beachbody has put out. They haven't put any marketing (infomercial) in it yet so we will see how it does after that. The GR@H Crew members that have done P90X2 have gotten great results. You can see some of them in some of the past posts. But I could be a little bias ;)

Interesting program and so soon after p90x2 failed, I mean got released :)
I hope they focus on form and reps rather than variety for the sake of 'muscle confusion'. If the program is based on 'eat more & lift more' concepts (as many bodybuilders preach) than I will pass. Still like the strength training dvds from p90x.
Do post your experience with it, thanks!

@Carlo: Not sure man. It's all speculation at this point. I would imagine that they would probably offer the equipment, much like the P90X2 kits.

Coach,

Do you know if I will be obligated to buy weights along with the Body Beast program? Just like Les Mills Pump, all I needed was the workout DVDs because I already had the barbell set but I was obligated to buy the Les Mills weights just to get the DVD.

thanks,
Carlo
