Now you can do more complex movements and recruit more muscle fiber than with dumbbells alone by using the E-Z Curl Bar with weights. It has variable handgrips and a spring-collar system for a comfortable, convenient, more effective workout. Comes with two each of 2.5 lb., 5 lb., 10 lb., and 25 lb. weights for adjustable workout intensity and 2 spring collars with plastic grips to hold the plates tightly in place. Weights are vinyl-coated so they’ll never rust, chip, or need repainting and are designed to be more gentle on any floor than other weights. They can also be used as handheld weights for moves without the bar.

What do you think? Are you going to try Body Beast? Which Package are you going to try? Let us know below!
@Ollie: I wouldn't recommend doing the same muscle groups back to back in the same week. Have yous seen my P90X/P90X2 Hybrid schedule yet? I put a ton of thought into it, I would do mine. You can add in some Insanity during any of the cardio / plyo days.
Sean, thanks for the advice - I think I'm going to stick with my current program, which is a hybrid of P90X2, P90X, and some Insanity mixed in occasionally... I may do a 90-day round of Beast after this hybrid to add about 10 to 15 lbs, then I'll switch back to a more athletic based routine... thanks again! Ollie
@Ollie: NP man! I think you will be fine with that mix. Are you using my P90X/P90X2 Hybrid schedule? I have been getting great feedback from it. I think doing Beast after that would be a great idea.
Sean, Will you be doing a round of Body Beast? I am so tempted but I'm conflicted because my goals are as follows: 1 - Stay healthy and fit long-term so I can enjoy and get the most out of life (not necessarily a pro or con for Body Beast) 2 - Be in great BASKETBALL shape - I'm thinking Body Beast is NOT the best program for basketball fitness/strength. 3 - Look good - this would be a vote FOR Body Beast I'm 6-6, 205 lbs, and I'd like to be 215 lbs... I think a round of Body Beast could get me there, but would it set me back in terms of basketball fitness - you seem to have an athletic build and are very strong, but your body still looks very conducive to sports/agility/speed/etc... would love to get your thoughts on Body Beast! Hope all's well, Ollie
@Ollie: I am doing the workouts but not the diet. I am not looking to gain mass at this time. Based on your goals for improving your basketball shape, I am thinking that you are better off doing a fitness / sports based program like P90X, P90X2 or Asylum. That isn't to say that you can't do Body Beast. Body Beast will keep you strong, but will not improve your overall athletic performance. The other option is to do Body Beast for 90 days then switch to P90X or P90X2 or Asylum for the next 90.
I kinda made a hybrid up, but I don't think I put enough time into it... because I've noticed as I've gone along that I scheduled Chest Shoulders Tris X1, YogaX2, then Chest Shoulders Tris X2 on 3 back-to-back-to-back days on some occasions, which I think is a bit overkill and unbalanced. I'll look for the link to your hybrid and check it out... thanks Sean!!
