I recently watched a great documentary called “Food Inc.” I have been getting a lot of questions as to whether or not it is required to eat organic foods while doing P90X or any other beachbody program (Insanity, RevAbs, Etc). While it is not required, I am a fan. Personally, I choose to eat organic dairy, meat/poultry, and Fruits/Veggies where you eat the skin. I believe the way our food is processed is making us sick. To many hormones, to many pesticides and to many drugs and antibiotics.
Food Inc., is a great movie showing how food in America is made and brought to market, how our farmers are treated, and how it effects the “everyday” family. It also shows how we have gotten so dependent on corn products and how that effects our cattle.
If you haven’t seen it yet then I highly recommend it. It is a non partisan issue and is treated that way in the documentary. There are offenders on both sides. Please educate yourselves on the importance of clean locally grown whole foods. Not only will eating well get you ripped but it will also make you feel unbelievable.

i saw this movie shortly after it came out late last year and it confirmed my decision to switch from being a meateterian (:
i not only learned alot about the meat industry but more importantly was shown a whole world of healthy alternative foods that taste great.
some basic improvments have been:
better sleep
increased energy
better skin and hair
awesome digestion
and fast(er) metabolism
and now that i added p90x to the mix (and several tips from coach sean) i’m confident that in less than 2 months I’ll be ripped!
@Al: That is awesome man! It’s amazing how much better we can feel just by changing what we eat. We tend to be a country of “instant gratification”. Feel bad? Take a pill. Overweight? Have surgery, etc. I think a lot could be cured with a good healthy diet and exercise. Keep it up man!
