Insanity The Asylum Update

Insanity the Asylum is almost here and I am getting extremely excited to see what Shaun T has in-store for us this time around.  Those of you who have tried Insanity know that Shaun T doesn’t mess around.  Asylum takes the same concept of Insanity and turns it up to another level.  Word on the street is that it will be release MID APRIL so that means that this program is right around the corner.  If you have seen Shaun T lately you will have seen that he has taken his health/fitness to a whole new level.  He was in incredible shape in Insanity but he is now at a level of fitness that we all can respect.  The dude is ripped beyond belief.  He says that it is all because of Asylum’s training program and nutritional guide.  I for one am extremely excited to try it out and see  if I can reach the level that he has through this program.

This post is the last update that you will need to read.  It will answer most, if not all of your Insanity The Asylum questions.  What is Insanity the Asylum?  What comes with the program?  Who should try Asylum?  What workouts are in Asylum and how long is it?  Does it come with a Nutritional plan?

What is Insanity the Asylum?

The program will include a speed rope and agility ladder, to help you master the moves and improve athleticism. It also includes cross training with weights and resistance.  As you can see by the pictures, it is being called “Volume 1: Sports Performance”  This should be the first of several volumes that will transform your sports performance beyond anything you have done before.

How much will Asylum cost?

Right now the reported retail price is $89.85. I understand there will be a DELUXE option with more equipment included such as chin up bar, bands, etc. Shaun T also advised that people in the video are doing the workouts with and without equipment (demonstrating modified moves) so that even if you don’t have all of the equipment, you can still do this program.

As you know I have been doing P90X, Insanity, P90X Plus and The P90X: One on One videos for over 2 years now so anytime I can incorporate a new program into my routine I will do it.  I just finished my 7th hybrid round of P90X and plan on starting Asylum for the full 30 days as soon as I can get my hands on it.  Remember Insanity The Asylum will be out VERY soon. Keep checking back here because I will be posting it as soon as it is available.
